Advertising is the practice of spotlighting your product, service or brand through paid broadcasting - either in print or digital.

All advertising shares two mutual goals: to influence consumers and to convert them to leads and further into customers. Advertising campaigns begin with research and strategy. 

There are several types of advertising and you choose the method that best aligns with your Ideal Buyer's communication preference. Along with making sure your advertising resonates with your customer avatar, you must also ensure the method is fiscally sound. You must ask yourself if the tactic is cost-effective and if it makes sense with your product, service or brand ad.

Digital advertising has the capability of reaching a wider audience in various ways through the Internet. This form of advertising can also be customized to narrow down an audience by their demographics.

Traditional advertising however, focuses largely on the "typical" ads on television, radio, newspaper, magazine, direct mail, and billboard designs. Although with this method  it is possible to reach a large number of people however, there is no control or way to measure if your ad is connecting with the right people.
