If you can invest a little more time, I have something else for you
Hi sis, I know you are busy doing your thing. I see you are stressed, and overwhelmed, trying to focus on all the things that must be done today. If I may interrupt this space, just for a moment, I'd like to offer you a complimentary course. to help you gain clarity and be purposeful with your time.
As a busy business professional, it seems you have to bolt out of your bed in the morning to immediately be up and running at a sprinter's pace. You have so much going on. There are too many distractions. You don't know the last time you had a moment to yourself where you could calm your racing mind and enjoy some peace and quiet. Today is a quick overview of modern-day meditation to see how you can fit meditation into your 21st-century life, managing life and a brand.
Experts agree that meditation can be traced back sometime between 5,000 and 3,500 BCE (Before the Common Era). This belief comes from what are thought to be the oldest documented pieces of wall art found in India. People are shown seated in traditional meditative postures with closed or half-closed eyes. It began as a practice in India to reach a higher state of enlightenment and spirituality. Its spiritual ties can be found in Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Its connection to spiritual practices is also found in ancient Egypt, China, and later in the United States.
At this point, you know that meditation is thousands of years old. It has grown in global acceptance as an alternative treatment for so many afflictions. It has become widely supported by traditionally trained doctors and psychiatrists. So we're not discussing some fringe medicine or practice without real benefits. So, you might be thinking, "Okay. What are the proven rewards of meditating? How can I expect to boost my health, physically, mentally, or emotionally?" Let's talk about a few scientifically proven and evidence-based benefits of this age-old healing practice.
We're not going to spend much time here because it's unnecessary. As a beginner, the hardest thing you'll face is blocking out distractions to your five senses. That means the only physical thing you need to meditate on is a quiet, comfortable space. You do have to prepare yourself mentally but anyone can meditate just about anywhere. However, I will offer you a few modern-day accessories for comfort.
I know, you're busy. You don't really have a lot of time during the day. I totally understand, I am busy too. Imagine that you only have about five minutes of free time. You want to settle your mind, ease some tension, and focus on the tasks at hand. In this situation, you don't have much time to prepare. You must find a quiet space, calm your mind, and get involved quickly. That's not a problem. It's one of the beautiful things about meditation. You don't have to have a lot of time. I'll show you how, in minutes.
This beginner's guide to meditation will focus on simple and easy-to-learn forms. If you try one that doesn't seem right, don't give up immediately. Please give it a few sessions.
